About me
My name is Pratiksha, from a young age, I’ve always known I want to help people. I enjoy Sleep Medicine particularly because it is a very young medicine. This means the upward trajectory of new technologies and treatments is exciting, and the potential for developing new ways to help people is limitless.
I am a Registered Sleep Physiologist and an Australasian Psychological Society certified CBTi practitioner. I founded ProSleep because I believe that restful sleep is the foundation a healthy life.
I have a double major degree in Sport Science and Psychology from the University of Auckland. I also have a Post Graduate Certificate and Diploma in Medical Technology endorsed in Sleep Medicine from the University of Otago.
I am registered under the Clinical Physiologist Registration Board and am an Australia New Zealand Sleep Science Association committee member. I have been awarded the Fisher & Paykel Scholarship twice, 2018 & 2024 for projects within Sleep medicine.
I’ve worked within the biggest hospital organisations within Aotearoa (NZ) and London, I have over a decade of public and private sleep health experience. Specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi) and comprehensive sleep studies.
I am dedicated to helping you unlock the restorative sleep you deserve.
